Cooper race announces winners

The 3rd Annual Mini-Cooper Racing Event was held recently at the Batangas Racing Circuit. This year’s race, “Petronas Philippines Motorsports championships – Philminiracers Classic Mini Racing Series”, was a huge success for the Flashbacks Team—the team representing Binalot Fiesta Foods, Inc.

The team won a total of four awards – 1st in open pro class, 2nd in junior class, 3rd in newbie class and 3rd in expert class.

“I had to overtake 11 cars to win,” Team Driver for expert class Ferdie Raquel Santos said.

The Binalot Fiesta Foods’ Flashbacks Team is a racing team composed of team owner and race driver Rudy Bunag and team engineer Hernani Velo. Other race driver members are Ferdie Raquelsantos, Carlos Castaneda, Anthony Jose, Reina Pilao, Dindo Razonable and Kenneth Angala.

The team has total nine mini racecars having three spares just in case of breakdown or technical problems. It is evident that their training and concentration are paying off.

For three years now, the relationship between Binalot Fiesta Foods, Inc., and the Flashbacks team has been rewarding.

Audiences have taken notice of the Binalot race car, with the picture of the Binalot Mascot. Raquel Santos looks forward to developing the partnership into the next level.
