Mizoram scored two goals in the last 10 minutes to carve a thrilling victory. Lal Bia Khula and Lal Nun Mawia scored the all-important goals for Mizoram in a game that Sikkim dominated.

Both goals came in the Tripura versus Manipur match came in the second half. After the break, Manipur pressed for the first goal and their efforts paid off when T. Raju’s long throw was headed home by Mohammed Sohail in the 62nd minute.
